COVID-19 Readiness Statement

As our community continues to feel the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, we want you to know that North Suburban Pulmonary and Critical Care Consultants is actively monitoring the situation. We are planning to keep our office open and treat patients while following extra safety precautions, including guidelines from the CDC and public health and government agencies. Our priority is to keep patients, caregivers, staff, and anyone who walks through our doors safe.

Here are the steps we're taking:
  • Our office is open for medically necessary office visits and procedures only

  • Please call and talk to a nurse or physician on the phone if you answer yes to the following questions and we will guide you:

    • Do you have a cough?
    • Do you have a fever?
    • Do you have any flu-like symptoms?
    • Do you have diarrhea?
    • Have you traveled internationally in the past two weeks?
    • Were you exposed to or in contact with COVID -19 positive patients?
    • Have you had physical contact with anyone who has traveled internationally in the past two weeks?

  • Please do not come to the office or make an appointment if you answer yes to the above questions.

  • If anyone in our office is not feeling well, especially if they show signs of respiratory illness, they are to seek medical advice and remain home from work until cleared by their doctor to return.

  • TeleMedicine services for non-emergencies will be available soon.

We encourage all of our patients and caregivers to access the following resources for up-to-date safety and health best practices:

American Lung Association

CDC Coronavirus (COVID-19)

CDC What's New

CDC Frequently Asked Questions

World Health Organization (WHO) Coronavirus disease 2019 outbreak

The health and safety of our community is our number one priority. We thank you for your patience as we continue to closely track developments and determine how to provide the best quality of care.
